Reading Group Recap – Day Two
On our second day of reading partners, we did a color mixing painting activity along with the reading of “Mouse Paint.” Alyson and Perry are reading partners, and no one on the room took the opportunity to read english to a captive audience more seriously that Perry. Each day Alyson would arrive in the room, Perry would be ready with a book, ready to read, and eager for Alyson to listen. While other groups would trade off reading and linger at the book stack buying a little time in between books, Perry did not waiver, he savored every page he was able to read. Following the hour of reading, we were given more opportunity to get to know our partners through the activities we planned and the creative outlet they provided.
