Following the initial visit to Hope School in January of 2017, the desire to address the tremendous need for high-quality books at Hope School led to LPP providing new textbooks for each student that year, and then to the commitment to support construction of Hope School’s first library. Construction of the library has been underway over the past 6 months and it was exciting to see the progress that has been made when visiting a few weeks ago. Once complete, the library will open up enormous possibilities for these young learners, who until now, have had very little access to reading materials outside of the classroom. There is tremendous excitement for the library at Hope. Students and teachers alike are anxiously awaiting the day when the project is complete and they have a beautiful space to gather, read and learn.
