LPP hires teachers with Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degrees in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field. We look for teachers who are passionate about cultivating a classroom community and who are nurturing, collaborative, and reflective. The LPP lead teacher interview process begins with a first-round interview as well as a working interview in which prospective hires teach a short circle time showcasing their unique interests, classroom management style, and personality.
